LOWER LIGHT Issued on 02 May 2026 10:13 Lower Light Dump Fire CFS is responding to a dump fire at the Integrated Waste Services at Lower Light in the Adelaide Plains. CFS volunteers on 4 fire trucks, supported by landowners and heavy machinery, attended the large green waste dump fire this morning. Firefighters successfully protected two processing plants from any fire damage. This fire may continue to burn for several days due to the large amount of materials impacted. The fire is contained to the green waste pit and CFS will continue working with landowners to monitor the fire until the area is deemed safe. Smoke may be visible from local roads in the area, namely Port Wakefield Highway. Please do not enter the area unless necessary to ensure your safety and that of firefighters and other emergency personnel working in the area. Message ID 0009406
